Default Center dash vents

I want to find some that open and close like the outboard ones do. Do I have to swap out the whole bezel or can they be independently removed from the bezel? Thanks.

You can swap bezels with one that have them that move.
My 03 xl had them that moved already.

I thought that maybe they would be found in XLT's but it could be another one of Fords, "We'll use what ever we have lying around" deals? LOL

What all options do you have on your radio bezel?

Here is one with just 1 12v adapter

Oh, they move up and down and left and right but I'm referring to the ones with thumb wheels that shuts off the airflow completely. The reason I want them is that with the fan on high and on Max A/C the air output from the outboard ones is fairly weak, but the center ones have much more air output. Are they typically like that or does it sound like something is wrong with mine?

That's typical I think - my '09 has been that way since it was new.

Yeah I don't thing there is any model that had an option to shut the flow off of the center vents. I just shoot them up to the ceiling lol
