Front Seats which years will fit 2001

I need drivers seat for my 2001 xlt reg cab. the current one is just whipped. i have called about 50 junk yard and i found a 98 & 99 drivers seat.

i am wondering if any one knows which years will fit my 2001.

found a 60/40 bucket for $100 for driver and passenger at a place in grand rapids michigan called baker auto parts 1981 alpine st 616-363-9881. they are the same color & year, but the fabric is ripped, and dirtier then mine. but the seat structure is solid unlike mine so i am happy and so will my back
they had more if anyone else needs a seat, i know how hard they are to find.

the seat i bought does not fit.
both rails bolt down at 13 inch intervals

on my seat one rail is 16 inches and the other is 13 inches.

i tried to take my rails off and swap them with the new seat but it is bolted on with 5 10 mm bolts no problem. the problem is there are 6 steel pucks like pop rivets that i cannot remove unless i grind them off and then how do i reattach them to the new seat??

i think they said it came out of a 98 but i am not sure.
i am going to call them on monday and see if i can return the seat or if they have one that will work.

also the wiring had a 4 point connector on my seat and the replacement only had a 2 point connector. what should i do here if i keep the seat?

i hope they take them back.

just getting the seat out was a pain in the ***. i ended up buying some PB blaster and hosing it down over and over again. i also wire brushed the one bolt that was stuck. goes in and out now like butter. i guess when i find the right seat it will come out easy.

i spent about an hour cleaning the replacement seat with a bissell little green. maybe i should point that out when i return it. it is on better condition them when i got it. it is now clean. I will say the bissell, a brush, and simple green did wonders for the greasy arm rest. it looks like new.
