Ripping the dash apart was the most annoying thing I've done so far. After every bolt you feel you are so much closer just to figure out you have 5+ left. Other than the dash replacing the bulbs in the cluster is cake.

You haven't done this on an older RBV have you? You gotta get on the ground and reach up under the dash and disconnect the speedometer cable. For sure this is the way 93 and older are, I don't know when they went to electric impulse speedometers.

Don't use replacement LEDs unless you want nasty looking hot spots.

My friend pointed me to this site he used a SMD LED bulb that puts out a wide angle of a light output. Check it out I saw his and his was straight blue so I wanted to get some but also wanted a second opinion. Check it out here: http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...ini-wedge.html (third one down)

Only thing with that your gonna need to sand the factory green color off the gauges so it shows through right plus they still wont look great

Best look for a LED swap is actual led's you solder into the gauge

U need to first sand the green off

And get LED's like this

I have already sodered ones in my havc control. and sanded off the green sh1t. Also do you have to remove the gauge needles to get to the green off in the cluster???
Sorry didn't mean to steal anyones thread.
