Default Is this stock?

Hello I was wondering if this four wheel drive shifter was stock? I always thought there was like a knob on the front dash?

What year is the truck? If you ask me, the shifter is the way to go. No expensive relays hidden inside the dash to break.

Yes it was, the 02 FX4 and 03 FX4 Level 2. They were stock if the truck was a manual. I'm Sure Shane will chime in later with more details.

nOPE....you just about covered it for me. lol.

The setup in the pic is factory 2002 Fx4 Off Road and 2003 Fx4 Level II when equipped with manual transmission. Automatic trucks got the normal switch on the dash. SUPER RARE parts. Only took me about 7 years of dreaming, 5 years of searching, and 2 years of HARDCORE searching til I found all my Fx4 "twin stick" components.

The pic posted I believe is a member of another forums truck....he goes by the name mudranger.

Hey guys it is actually a truck on Car Domain and I really like the way it looked but I had never see anything like it. He mentioned something like he put a hurst shifter in it but then right after that he says it is stock so I was a lil confused.

Is the truck black, as big as mine, and have a nifty rear bed rack/rollbar thing with like punched holes on pieces of plate on the rack??? If so, that's MudRanger's truck from R/F. And he does have a Hurst short throw shifter for the transmission in it now.

I am sorry I am not very mechanically inclined and I have no idea why you would take out the old shifter and put that one in but any advice will help. Thank you so much and yes it is mud ranger of what ever thanks so much.
