Default Finally have something to rest my arm on

Had some time, so I painted the explorer center console satin black, and recovered the arm rest in black fake leather.... put it in and I think it looks pretty good:

Thanks for looking,
Rafal

You took an Explore seat interior and put into the Ranger? Unbelievable, was it difficult? Iíll looking to get new seats, but if I can put in something like that then who knows whatís out there

the explorer is a ranger based vehicle so many of the parts are interchangeable. An interior swap like that is very common and easy to do. just swaps over.

all I did was just the center console, not the interior, but the biggest pain with the console was aligning the brackets to the floor. Over all, the install was not hard at all.

I was on my way to Joanne Fabrics, but I ended up stoping by Han**** Fabrics because they were having a 50% off sale and bought it there... it's super soft to the touch and I got 1/2 a yard for like $9.00

I was really looking for just some of the vinyl material they have.... but after feeling this and feeling how plastic the vinyl feels I went with this one... the best thing is that even when it's 120 in my truck after it sitting in the sun all day my arm doesn't stick or burn when you touch it...

does anyone know if anyone has tryed to put one of these in a 5 speed you would think it would fit if you took out that forward compartment and ran your shifter thru the hole

it will work, you have to dremel the ring off the cubby that comes out and use it to attach a custom shift boot
