Default A/c rebuild help

New member here and need some help. I have a 98 2.5l. Im installing a new a/c compressor, dryer, lines, orifice tube. Getting ready to order parts and can't figure out which lines to order. The only lines I need are the lines coming out of the compressor. Is that the suction and discharge hose assy? The pics I've found are vague and doesn't look right to me. Also, any suggestions for the best place to order from would be helpful. I just dont want to order the wrong parts. Also, where in the heck is the high pressure servicing port? I have looked everywhere and no luck. Thanks in advance for the help.

I think the AC setup is basically the same for all the trucks. the lines are not very expensive, and they are probably both into a manifold on the back of the compressor.

The lines are apparently made by two companies that I can find, UAC and four seasons.

you have a newer truck so there's a good possibility you do not have a high side connector and just as well they are nothing but trouble. You can check temperature of the discharge line and look up corresponding pressure, that line gets very hot, sooner or later the high side connection will leak, and the plastic caps get soft from the heat and will also leak.

Thanks for the help, and i have another question. Why do I only have a single wire coming from my compressor? Is that how they came stock? The new compressors I believe come with a clip with 2 wires? Did the older compressors not have a ground wire maybe? Again, thanks for the help.

I think if you get a replacement compressor it'll come with a proper clutch for your model.

Automotive air conditioning is not my forte I just try to help where I can.
