I need to install a well built drivers bucket seat in my 2009.
Can anyone tell me if any other ford models are interchangable?

welcome to the forum! i know that explorer seats are a popular swap in the gen 3 and gen 4 rangers. i'm not sure about the newer rangers, but' i'd imagine you can easily make it work. i kinda wanna say that mustang seat swaps have been done too... not too sure

I too look to change my seats (04 ford ranger supercab), and heard Explorer seats are compatible. One thing worries me... there's a cord connected to the seats. What is this?

It's the seatbelt harness I'm sure

I am looking at 02 Black Leather Taurus front buckets for $60 for my 09 Ranger Standard Cab with 60/40 seats. I am thinking put them on the Ranger tracks should be relatively easy. Anyone do that and if so any issues?
