Default Phone holder

I recently retired my S4 after 5 years of service.

It fit nicely in a ranger cup holder.

My J7 is bigger and does not fit in a cup holder.

I often use GPS I'm directionally challenged.

What are others using for phone holders in the ranger? I can't see stuffing something in my vent or suctioning to my windshield but if that is the schniz then I can conform.

For the past 3 years I have used 2 phone holders, both the same type but two different colors. Only replaced because I move it around a lot and it wore out.

They come in a variety of colors but blue no longer seems to be an option.

Does it leave a big round stain on the part you attach it to?

I use a ram mount universal phone holder with the suction cup mount, it vibrates at higher speeds but isn't bad

Check out proclips. They do vehicle specific mounts and phone specific holders. I don't know what the ranger options are but that is all I use for my vehicles.

The only "stain" it leaves is a circle of clean dash while the rest of the dash is all dusty. And to keep my phone from vibrating I angled it just right so a corner rests in the dash.

I love this thing, not only because the ball allows me to mount to horizontal or vertical surfaces but because I can easily transition from horizontal or vertical views with a knock of the finger.

Also i have found out over the last 2 years that that little magnet is fricken awesome for attaching to the inside lid of the tool box, bed of the truck, over a fender while working on the truck, great for preventing a phone from sliding off any metal surface it can stick too. all sorts of places.

Removable phone holder. I have no idea why the pic is rotated 90 degrees.

I am not sure if this would work for you or your phone, yet If I wanted a holder for my phone and did not want to look down at my cup holder while driving I would consider this radio.

However it seems to be an expensive option that may outdated tech.

Wow that's a bunch of different kinds and everyone seems to be satisfied with them.

I like the compactness of the little ball thingy but wonder how it would stick to my phone case.

Thanks again guys.

If you have a cd player and don't listen to CDs anymore, get one that fits in the slot. That's what I did and it worked amazingly well.
