I bought an Explorer as a donor for several projects.

It is exceptionally clean I am having a hard time mentally preparing to part it out.

The interior is the same color as my V8 project. I plan on using the seats at least as the one with the V8 is really scrappy on the inside.

I was planning on buying a new carpet for the V8 project BUT since I'm using the seats out of the expo is there any chance the carpet would fit too? I know I would have to trim off the back but that isn't a problem as long as the basic lumps are in the same place.

So will the carpet fit?

OMG, that is a CLEAN vehicle! Now I understand why you are having the mental battle to part it out. As for the carpet fitting, I think the Expo has a slightly different trans tunnel hump... but it will probably work. Shame those aren't power seats...
