Looks better than hanging on a windshield with a suction cup.. I remember back in the day where almost everyone had a radar detector. Now, hardly ever and myself I havent used one in well over 15-20 years.

I have my own fun way of dealing with the policy enforcement agents..

I plan on making a better use of that empty garage door opener area soon myself in my OHC. Just trying to find the right component to make work. Something I may organize around the time I replace the headliner as its beyond shot. Ive got a nice OHC, beautiful clean visors, and a headliner that looks like I kept a Bobcat an anti-theft device in my truck.. Annoying when the glue breaks down and the material starts hanging just begging to be ripped down. lol

Haha yeah, the detector is nice where I live where every road is like 4 lanes wide an only 35 or 45 mph. It's not hard to find yourself a couple mph over 35 or 45 when there's 5-0 around the corner. Gives me atleast a mile notice. I had it clipped to the top of the headliner right next to the OHC before I put it in. Much better hidden like this, protects from potential thieves and keeps it low key. Military gate guards aren't fond of radar detectors, so all I have to do is flip a switch I wired to turn it off and I'm good with no potential for fuss.

Probably gonna put a dash cam in the remaining space here soon.
