cool air when turn on heater

You're going to have to post a little more detail than "cold air when turn heater on". In the meantime, if you need then just open a window....

oh i thought it was clear already, what i meant is when you turn your ac on, instead of cooling, you set your heating on, but instead of heat coming out of the vents it shoots cold air i hope its clear enough

You're welcome!! If you put crap in, you get crap out. I'm not sure what you want when you haven't explained wtf the problem is in a manner that makes sense.

well as far as i can understand when he selects the heater he gets a/c coming out of the vents.. now ive heard of a/c blowing warm but never heater blowing cold..

and what the hell are you doing using the heater when its summer time in MIAMI!! i mean.. it was over 100 here today i cant imagine what it was there..

check to make sure your blower motor is working.. and that all the hoses are hooked up expecially the one from the blower motor , it should be that big black thing right infrount of the passenger side mounted to the fire wall the motor will have about t3-4 bolts holding it to the heater box

coz im having overheating issues and decide to turn on the heater to remove some off the heat in the engine and found out my heater is not working properly

yeah check the coolant and i would go ahead and replace the thermostat if i recall its not that hard to do on a 3.0l i did it on my car in like 15 mins

Forget about the heater. There is probably nothing wrong with it. Your problem is overheating and that needs to be corrected. You're wondering why a sub-system isn't working and completely ignoring the fact that the main system it relies on is broken.

Ryan, take a deep breath and ensure that your radiator and overflow tank are full and that your entire cooling system has no air pockets. An overheating problem usally starts with low coolant.

i havent replaced the thermostat, this is what ive done lately, at first, the needle gauge for the temp rising up when in traffic, on highway, its fine, so i was told the fan clutch is bad, so i change the fan clutch, first move i made, the next day i notice the radiator is still bone dry the same as the reservoir, so i filled it up, and run it. still notices the needle gauge going up above the halfway mark after half an hour drive so i crank the heater to remove some off the heat on the engine but its blowing cold air, another problem arises, the next day filled it up again with a 50/50 but this time i replace the radiator cap, and so far, the fluid is holding up on the radiator,

now im tackling the problem with the heater, one thing i notice when the heater is on, two hoses thats going to the heater control valve is hot, but the two hoses leaving the heater control valve is not hot, any takes on this?

Where'd the water go? Crankcase? Exhaust? The heater won't work if the water (coolant) doesn't get there. Is it throwing any codes? (check engine light)
