It might just be my old boney butt, but has anybody else noticed how hard these seats are after a 3 hr trip?

Do you have the fabric or vinyl ones? In my truck I have vinyl and they never get old, however the fabric ones in my dads truck are stiff and hurt after minutes.

The padding in the cloth seats in my 200 is worn out and I feel the steel reinforcement bar dead on a previous spine surgery scar. I can get new covers at a dozen places, but where do I find new seat pads?

The 04-06 or so seats were known for being hard.

Historically, Ranger seats have never been comfortable. That's why so many people swap in Explorer seats. I'm running Explorer Sport seats in mine and they're pretty comfortable. They have some great bolstering so they really make you feel secure in the seat.

I don't know if they changed the seats for 2007, but I have cloth seats which I find are as hard as rocks. I already had to get a wedge pad because the front edge doesn't give at all and I feel like it is cutting off my circulation (I'm short). I'm struggling as well.

I have since gone to bed bath and beyond a got a gel pad. Seems to work just fine. I'm in the truck a lot delivering for Papa Johns

Just in case you still wanted info on replacement foam for your seats.

I am pretty sure You will have to go with used seats or aftermarket seats.

The replacement foam for my 2002 was no longer available from Ford.

I did what I could to repair them when I installed new upholstry however
You can still tell the foam is worn in spots.

Can anyone tell me what years are interchangeable for extended cabs? I have a 2004 60/40 that I want to put buckets in and found a great set of 1999 seats. Suggestions?
