Default Engine Cosmetic Mods

So I wanted to test out a splatter painting idea, so I decided to start with a piece no one ever sees but a piece that if done nicely would add something to the ranger. I decided to paint the engine "cover" and I think it turned out great! I only took one picture but I will take some more tomorrow.

I do have one question, there is another plastic piece that looks like the valve cover? I want to remove it and paint it but I wasn't able to find out how. Anyone have any ideas?

You could achieve the same results by just being careless with the dipstick when checking your oil.

I hate it when I'm rattle can painting something, and the nozzle clogs and does exactly that.

I know everyone's taste is different but I'm not sure that's something I'd do intentionally.
