Default Need help on 96 CC Not Working

I have read several posts on diagnosing my 96R CC issues, but need help in my issues. My CC has run without issues for 290,000 miles - now it does not work. First, my R is a manual with CC which I believe is somewhat rare.

I have checked fuses - all good. I replaced the CC button switches - no change. Also, new MC hydraulic switch - no change. Question: if my clutch pedal "Start/CC switch" operates properly when I push the pedal down to start the car is it STILL good for the CC function? I believe it is good, but would like any one's response on it.

Also, does any one have a source for the soft rubber CC button covers. My ones are hardened. What years would fit the 96R CC?

Finally, does anyone have a good CC module attached to the PS fender for sale? Is this control module the same for autos as well as manual cars?

Thanks very much for any help or advise. I really need some help with this CC as I do not have much knowledge on it.

Glenn

Providing some feedback to members. Then issue with my CC & ABS system was a bad CC MC switch which I replaced about 1 1/2 years ago. I was hard pressed to believe the switch was bad, but it affected my ABS as well as my CC system so I assumed it was only the switch and I was right.
