Default Wheelskins steering wheel cover advise

Got a Wheelskins steering wheel cover for Christmas, and would like to install with a baseball stitch. Has anyone had experience trying that technique with Wheelskins? Current steering wheel is non-leather on my 2010 Sport.

I have a Wheelskins in my truck. I did the regular stitch however in my new 2017 Honda Fit I did the Wheelskins with the baseball stitch. I told the factory what I was intending to do and they included extra thread and the extra needle. So to answer your question yes it can be done and it looks really nice
Be aware that it is more time consuming, so don't rush. I would see if you could get more thread. It would be tough if you got to the end of the wheel and you were short on thread. Lots of good videos on Youtube showing how it's done.

Would you please share a picture of your Honda and Ranger steering wheels.

Here's the wheel in my truck. The steering wheel was in such bad shape that I had to remove the rubber under the OEM cover so the Wheelskin cover is a little large. Still came out pretty well and a huge improvement.

The cover in the Fit I'll try to get a better picture. It's hard to see the baseball stitch and I'm not totally satisfied with how the fit of the cover came out. The spokes are fairly wide and the leather doesn't fall quite right.
