Just a general question. I just hooked up a Kinivo BT wireless adaptor that plugs into the 12v adaptor. Neat little device for streaming music and calls via bluetooth. I plugged it into the left most power outlet on the bezel (I have two (left and upper right). And after I shut the truck off noticed that the led is still blinking which makes me wonder if this is an always on outlet?

Is that the case with 01' Rangers? I don't think it matters for the device but would rather it not be on all the time.

I have noticed however that after about 30 mins the truck cuts power to everything and wasn't sure if that also included the outlets... I know it shuts the interior lights off. If the 30 min power cut shuts off the outlets then I am OK with that solution.

Appreciate the info.

Ordered the dorman right angle power wire for two bucks and going to solder it into the switched ignition wire on the stereo harness. That way when I turn the truck on, the blue tooth turns on and when I shut the truck off it turns off... I doubt this little thing would ever drain the battery but just having stuff on when the truck is off bothers me minus the power locks/wireless entry...etc.
