I can remove the door panels very easy but i dont know how th remove the dash and dont want to start messing around and brake some thing important. Do yourself a favor, and just paint it with the dash in there. Remove what you can, then mask off any areas you dont want painted. Removing the dash is a LOT of work.

a lot of work, and a whole lot more to even put it back together. a friend of mine took his dash out, and it took him nearly 4 hours before it was totally out.

If it was an old truck, i'd probably second.

But seeing as its a 09, it's just a horrible idea. Might as well do the job right and most importantly, evenly. Taking out the parts means painting in areas you cannot reach in the truck imo.

Good luck on the project dude, i was upset when i learned i would be stuck with a gray dashboard...

getting the dash out isn't too bad. i can get mine out in an hour. then again, i've had it out so many times i can't count it anymore.

but me personally, i would take it out and have it wrapped in vinyl. i wrapped mine and i think it looks 100x better than dying it.
