Default Help! Looking to overhaul interior

Hello all and thank you to all who read and/or contribute to this post.

My Dad passed away recently and left me a 2.5L 1999 Ford Ranger XLT Regular Cab.

The interior is in rough shape and I am looking to do some overhauling. I know there is a sticky in here for Bucket seats, but I do not understand which year rangers they apply to so maybe someone can help clarify that for me.

I am looking to replace the 60/40 Bench with some bucket seats as this regular cab truck has very little leg room as is and I am a large man. So, could anyone recommend some seats to check out from whatever Year/Make/Model of vehicles.

Also, the carpet is in rough shape and I was wondering if anyone could recommend somewhere to check out getting some fresh carpet from. I may try removing the current carpet and just cleaning the ever living crap out of it. It all depends on cost of replacing.

Thank you.

You can clean the carpet real good then buy some fabric and vinyl paint and throw some of that on carpet. You can even do all the panels and stuff. Comes out pretty neat. I'll have to upload some pictures of mine that I just did

Wow that looks great. Was your interior black before or was it that grayish color?

Can you tell me what brand you used to re-finish everything?

It was the gray interior! And I used the spray can of fabric and vinyl . It was the dual black one. U need to clean and wash the panels real good! Make sure the panels are warm so the paint sticks good.

I am loving this. Did you take everything apart, pull out dash, anything like that? I am going to have to look into this, this weekend...

How many coats did you do?
