hey i been wanting to this this a while but never got round to it till now...i wana put power windows and locks in my ranger...ive heard different thing about aftermarket vs stock...theres a aftermarket kit for the ranger that does power windows n locks but i have heard that tthe power window motor and stuff is junk and i should go with the stock stuff...then i head that the stock crap is junk...anyway...if the stock stuff isnt junk..what would i need to swap it my my truck...or am i better off gettin the aftermarket kit with all the plug-ins and everything you need?

Did both the auto door locks and power windows. Aftermarket on both of them, also. Honestly, could not be happier. Got the auto lock kit for $30 about 5 months ago and the auto window kit $65 with 2 motor assemblies a month ago, both off of eBay. Easy installation all around. One thing though, after about 3-4 months the auto locks would stop working randomly. This was due to my wiring job as I later found out. Still would highly recommend doing it.

for the power lokcs, does it have remote entry or is it still key?

It looks like eBay doesn't have a very big selection anymore, actually none at all. And the kit I bought came with remote door locks, not just keyed.
