Changing lights in dash/speedometer
so my lights in my dash are starting to go out. which are the ones that light up speedometer fuel gauge and temperature etc etc. my ranger is a 2002 ranger xl. does anybody know anything about changing dash lights?

my buddy fixes digital cameras so he takes it apart to the circuit board and individually solders each one out and an l.e.d in. he does all colors. in the colorado there are like 30-38 l.e.ds

Plug in LED wont look as good as soldered in LED

My truck is an 08 I'm tryin to get on touch with the guy and see if he can do it.
He does all kinds of colors too

I can assume he thinks it is a newer ranger
And really the soldered in LEDS are the only way to go. The plug in ones dont really do that well

does anyone have a link to somewhere that sells plugin blue LEDS for this swap that are a direct replacement from the original lights.. I KNOW THAT PLUGINS WONT BE AS BRIGHT AS SOLDERED lol just looking for info. and i would still have to sand off the green film right?..*duh*
