Re: Leather Seats?
Those ARENT '95-01 era seats...they aren't gen2 expo styling... Gen2 Expo's dont have a seperate headrest and are totally shaped different than what you've got.

I agree about Alan's seats....those are 1st gen uglyness Expo seats and are dated at almost 20 years old. 2 years shy of the first year of the expo. lol.

Sorry that in my 5 years or so of sifting through hundreds of gen2's at yards that I've never seen those in one. But...you win...

Looks 1980's cadillac....out of place in a factory gen2 expo to my eyes.

Re: Leather Seats?
i have a question. is it possible to get my seats re-upholstered with leather? if so what does that mean exactly? do they take the cloth off and put leather on the seat frame and what not or do they just put leather over the cloth? i might go this route if possible because its probably cheaper than a full leather seat replacement and nicer than just seat covers.

If you had your's reupholstered, they'd have your truck for maybe a day or two. They'd pull the seats, pull the seat covers, use your stock covers(upholstery) as a template and cut out new leather, sew it all together, install on your seat padding just like the stock stuff, and it's done.
Price ranges are huge... depends on shop to shop, the material, but you have choices in upholstery to make it 'you' and 'your own'. I wanna have just my centers redone in dark grey houndstooth(old GM print in camaros and pickups).
Back to the bucket or 60/40 deal.... all pics in this thread are of buckets. If you don't have that short or full length center console, you have a 60/40. Most obvious thing is the long armrest that's like 20" long...compared to a 60/40's armrest that's only like 14". Also, if your driver seat butt padding goes right up against the passenger seat butt padding, you have 60/40's. Buckets are standalone with a 10" gap between the two(for the center console)

Katzkin, roadwire, and several others are manufacturers of oem style leather seat covers. called leather kits. we install 5-6 kits a week at the shop. for a pair of buckets in a ranger, it would take about 3 hours to install. comes in just about any color you want. can get suede, perferated leather, different color stitching, etc. they aren't slip covers. they are actual upholstery. requires removing the original cloth, and putting the new cover on just as the original was. most dealerships use this option as it's cheaper to get a car with cloth, and let the customer decide if they want leather.
i know we charge the dealership around $900 for a 4 door car. that's the kit and installation. so a truck should be quite a bit cheaper.

Okay thanks for all the information. I'm pretty sure i have bucket seats.
The re-upholstery sounds pretty nice. I'm gonna see if i can find a re-upholstery place around here and get some prices.

Okay thanks alot man that information helps me out alot. I like the idea of removing the cloth and not just covering it up. I'm gonna head to a local re-upholstery shop and see what they can do.
Thanks everyone for the help

Edit: Cant tell if that's the total price on them or per seat? If they are per seat they are way to expensive! O well i tried
