If your car doesnt have a backseat, then yeah, you can put it in the front seat, facing backwards, with the airbag off....Do not put it in the jumpseat...It will snap the child's neck if you're moving 40mph or so and hit something because it would jerk the child's head to the left or right instead of front to back...Thats my theory anyways...Child seats were meant to go front or back, not sideways.
