Default Impotent air and heat flow

I just bought my Ranger last week so I am new to Rangers and new to the forum. The air flow with ac and heat is low on my ford ranger. I can hear the blower change speeds, but on high, it barely comes out. The temp is fine and achanges from cold to hot like it should. i had the ac checked out by a shop that that does free checks - no problems with lines or compressor. I replaced the blower motor. The air changes from defrost to floor and all the positions fine, but the air flow out all the vents just isn't what it should be. It was working fine the first couple of days. I've read about the blend door motor, but I haven't read about people having this exact problem. I am almost to the point of bringing is to the dealer, but would rather fix it myself.

Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions.

Mark

Wow, this seems to be the same problem I'm having. Only I can't really tell if the selector between floor, defrost, etc... is working. I hope after 2 years you got it fixed. If so, what did you do?

Thanks!

took it to the dealer. cost about $800 and was only warranteed for 12,000 miles. Hope it doesn't go again. After 2 years - not sure all they did, but it was more extensive than i wanted to do. The biggest cost was labor removing the dash. They did replace some housing as well.
