Default interior trim compatibility?

i have a 4 door extended cab and im in the process of getting rid of one or both of my jump seats in the back. When i took off the jack cover, i noticed the plastic is molded to fit the jack. My problem is i bought the truck used and dont have the jack. I want a clean look and lots of room in the back and wondered if i can remove the rear trim panel from the back and replace it with one from another truck thats got a flat back panel.

Ill take pics to make this easier to imagine if need be.

alright thanks for the pics. Ill go find that panel and make it work. I plan on building a box where my rear jump seat was for my new jack and jumper cables. Thats the biggest reason i want the flat panel

It mounts way different. Just look at that pic and your truck. The 2 door is a 2 piece back panel. A 4 door is a 1 piece. Also the 2 door back panel runs right into the cab corner, the 4 doors is about 12" shy on the corner. I was thinking the same thing that you wanted to do but it is not a direct swap

so if newer models have the two piece set up than maybe i can just find one and get the panels from one of those. If i cant make it work im gonna fabricate something to smooth it out and cover up the hole i create..... Ill have to do some research about the newer models and whether or not its just a swap

Our 4-doors have the same problem as you regarding the jack, we are just referring to the guy that said 4-doors have a one piece back wall. I would check a jy or cl to see if you can find a cheap one to play with. Make sure you know how yours mounts to compare to how the new one mounts before you buy.

My bad. It looked by the pic that the center piece was 2 piece( the piece below the window and the piece that goes to the floor)
