Yeah the problem though is people put them in, and the box isn't built to spec for the sub. Suffering performance of the sub.

Very sad, went to the junkyard today and couldn't find a center console in good shape

Very common. Gotta keep looking. If you can find a truck that just came in that's your best bet. Explorers well around here people use as work trucks and beat the death out of them. So it's rare to find a clean one. And in the junk yard the windows will get left down and everything on the interior gets gross and messed up.

There tons of explorers most with the console, however all the wrong colour, all tan

You could always get a tan one and dye it black. I have a grey one in my truck and thought about going black with it. But to much work to take it back out

Bump, still looking for more pics

Also thinking about-
-Painting the whole cab black, seen a few pics and it looks great imo
-Using sound deading material through out the whole cab, so to the people who have done this in a reg cab, how much did you use? and is the difference in noise huge? Like less tire hum etc?

Good news, the full length fits easy with the sub(pics will be in my build thread) but i also gained back so much leg room since before the middle console on the bench would hit the sub and stop my chair from coming back
