Default Question about the bottom door latch on a 4 door
Neither one of the door latches on the bottom of my back doors (4 door ranger) will latch, the top ones do but not the bottom. They are spose to latch right?

how do you know they are not latching? are they rattling?

When I shut one of the back doors (either side)I can grab the bottom and pull out on it and tell it's clearly not latched. Where as the top of the back door when shut, is solid. Plus I have that stupid "door ajar) light on.

I have the same problem with my passenger rear door, today I sprayed the **** outta the latch inside the door with WD-40 and grabbed towards the bottom of the door and slammed it shut. Got the door shut and the door ajar light is now off.

I guess I'll just keep spraying! lol I've been using PB Blaster.
