OP wants to swap in red LED's in the dash - so hows the off the thread?
I argue for asian LED's (Not all, but the good ones) and you argue for Bugg's

yeah but so many asian led's seem to be hit and miss so I figured I'd recommend Bugg since it worked for me. its always so hard to know which led's will be the brightest/ last longest/ produce more color

If you get the ebay ones get the canbus error free ones. They seam to hold up good. The other ones that are the normal looking leds off ebay suck I have an extra pack of 10 laying around cause I always have one that likes to flash. Lately it's been my license plate doing it.

Yeah, getting to the point just gonna put halogen bulbs back in.
----------
I have buggman leds in my ohc and mustang dome, as well as his modded fog switch and headlight switch. I have absolutely no issues with buggmans stuff. Super bright and amazing.

I buy leds off of amazon and some of the lights like to go out I guess since they didnt make them for voltage higher than 12 my truck run at 14.3v im thinking about soldering resistors to the lights to keep them from going out all the time
----------
There are 5 leds lights on the bulb and 1 or 2 or them like to go out and make a strobe light show it looks cool in the parking lamps but its annoying in the dash so I have to use the dimmer to make it stop and cant run them at full brightness

Yeah that's the bulb taking a dump. 14v or so is normal for a running vehicle that runs off 12v. The bulbs are just cheap. The error free bulbs seem to not so it like the cheaper ones. Although I can't talk Much. I just ordered 20 5smd bulbs off ebay in green for my jeep. But it's a mud truck so Idc what it looks like. Just want brighter gauges. And those are clear so any color will changes the cluster

Just to be clear. I wasn't knocking any particular brand or person. Just stating from my experience it's not worth it in cluster

No grudges here! I for one is not against bugg's mods etc - my point was just that you can find error free asian LED's..
