i took mine out of the passenger side door on my 2 door super cab 2004. Yes you need to remove the interior trim. I removed every inch of interior when i installed sound deadener

it's not that bad. you work the board under the steering column and it slides right out the passenger door.

you want a hard one, try a jag. you literally have to cut the board in half to get it out. worked on a newer volkswagon golf the other day and it's nearly pull the back window out to get it out. our trucks are cake.

[QUOTE]i am scared to do my seats that way though because it does take alot of time! For the headliner if i take all the trim that holds it up off and remove the visors/ dome light will it just fall off? then i can go to joann fabrics and get some good fabric.
!/QUOTE]

find some covers until you can afford to get the seats recovered.

i highly advise not to buy material from joanns. you need to find an actual headliner that has some foam backing, or is thick enough that glue won't bleed through. nothing worse looking than glue splotches all over. check out yourautotrim.com for oem headliner material, or even suedeliner.

I haven't taken the headliner out yet because of school and stuff but once summer hits I might do it. I've been thinking about selling the truck though and getting a car.. I know I know haha but MPG's are killing me and I'd like to drive around more than 1 person

the headliner comes out pretty easy

Visors, retainers, and domelight.

Get fabric and cover it yourself, maybe find a friend to do visors, my girlfriend sewed mine as nearly seamless covers, so I can wash them lol

Any plans on what type of fabric? Pattern or plain colors?
