Default Changing Dash Lights/speedometer

Looking to change the color of the dash lights in my 2002 ranger.
Want to make it just white LED
Is it just a simple replacement or are the lights already white with the speedometer having the green color

The lights are white and the green tint is on the gauge cluster.

I think there's a how-to on the forum for removing the green tint, but it basically involves taking everything apart and sanding the green tint off of the back of gauges.

Yup, the gauge overlays have a color filtering on the back side that can usually be lightly wet sanded off so you can use white led's (hopefully buggman led's) to make the #'s all white or you can use colored led's to change colors.... if you have red needles you'll need to do a little more work by painting the back of the overlays with a translucent paint like dupllicolor metalcast paint & use white led's.
I've tried colored led's behind red needles & the results are crappy. They'll be very dim & nearly impossible to see at night

Buggman, I sent you a pm and didn't hear back. I'm looking to replace my worn out gauge bulbs with some of your LEDs. I'm hoping it will look stock green only brighter / crisper?
