Cool Tablet Install

This was just to test if i would like my nexus 7 installed in my truck but i really like the concept. To the point that i am thinking of ways to modify it to make it look more professional looking.
--------------------------
The main purpose of it like this is for navigation/Google maps
or get an aux cord and connect to radio(if your radio has one. in this case don't have one)
--------------------------
the bracket are thin enough to fit between bezel and radio but thick enough to stay in there and hold tablet.
easy removal of just pulling it out. Then putting the brackets in your glove box with tablet
which is super nice because it doesn't even look like you had a tablet there=less break in probability
--------------------------
I recommend getting anti glare for tablet
--------------------------
cons: cant see A/C control
------ harder to change the radio station
----------------------------------------------------

I guess I just don't get the point.

If you want a GPS, you can buy one for $100 that has either a weighted dashboard mount or a windshield suction cup mount.

For that matter, you can buy those mounts for your phone or tablet.

Going through that much trouble for something that decreases the functionality of the truck (climate control knobs and radio dials) when there are cheap alternatives that would look and function better seems kind of pointless to me.

But hey, it's your truck. Do whatever you want to do with it.

the whole idea of this was to see if i would like a tablet mounted in that spot(which i do). because my over all idea is to mount my nexus 7 there and put a single din radio where the airbag light is.

Why put the radio down there where you can't easily reach it while driving ?

This would be a lot easier if the ranger had steering wheel controls and a 2 piece radio

If a frog could fly he would't bust his balls when he jumps.
Sorry, had to.
