Default Windows

The Windows in my 06 are starting the same problem that my 01had, when i bring the passenger window up it doesn't go up straight thus causes a wind noise. Is there any way to adjust the windows?

That would probably help, electric. I know on my 01 XLT there were rivets that held it to the window frame that slid on the track, I didn't want to drill rivets out when it comes to glass.

Okay, I just dont want to mess the glass up. How do I adjust them from there? Just drill new holes and put new rivets in? It got to the point in my old truck where I would actually have to hold the window up and back as it was rolling up.

its not the actual window that is the issue...more than likely the regulator is starting to give up...pull the door panel off and watch the regulator as you raise/lower the window and compare that to the drivers side

Okay ill have to check that out. The drivers window is fine for now, cant complain though trucks got about 136,000 on so far. Regulators aren't all that hard to replace I don't think Right?

I worked for many different new car dealers over the 24 years I worked in the automotive business when I used to live in northern NJ, Ford, Pontiac, & Chevy.

Nice! That would be such a cool job, especially working in an assembly plant.
