Wondering if there's an easy way to disconnect the warning chime on a 93 ranger (stx)
I know it's probably because of too much keychain weight, but when I take the keys out if the ignition and open the door that damn chime goes off, as if the keys were still in it.
If I jiggle the ignition it will cancel temporarily, but I'm considering just manipulating the push button switch inside the door jam
Any tips?

I believe you should be able to locate and unplug the warning chime itself. Should be under the dash.

^ don't mess with the button inside the door jam, as you will no longer have Interior lights when you open the door at night.
