I'm new to the forum and just bought a ranger. Not sure if already knew the 02 ford explorers came with a nice white cluster. Just put one in my 98. Also don't know if they work on a 96 because its different style but probably would. And as for mileage you can roll it back to your mileage with a small screwdriver. Just tale the glass off and turn the wheels back. Hope it helps a bit.

You might want to be cautious of rolling the mileage back. I believe it is a felony. The speedo will not read correctly if the tires are not the same size. You should be able to remedy the speedo error with a speed sensor.

his 96 is electronically driven. It SHOULD read whatever the factory one was. You SHOULD be fine if you roll it back to match the one you're pulling out. That in mind i have one for you, but its black instead of white. I could rebuild it with your mileage and sell it to you.
