Default Of Chicken Bars and Seat Materials

The other day, I saw a 4 door, extended cab Ranger with "chicken bars" on each "A" pillar, and seats upholstered in solid black and gray material. Can anyone tell me what year(s) and model would feature these?

I should note that the truck was newer than 2000. Unfortunately, most of its front end was gone, and the bed was not on it. The rear of the frame was twisted as well. Due to the angle of the sun, I couldn't make out the VIN.

What are 'chicken bars'? My seats are grey and black, I am thinking this is pretty common...

Wow, nobody "Old Skool" out there, eh. Thanks for the cool comments guys. Chicken bars are those grab handle thingies, generally mounted to the interior roof, just above the doors on older vehicles, but more common to see them on the "A" pillar in later Model cars or trucks. Another slang name for them are "Oh SH*TBars." They got the name because folks grab for them when the driving gets extreme or intense.

I think the oldest vehicle I remember them on, that I owned, was my 1967 narrow eyed Baja Bug, powered by a twin Weber carbureted 2180cc motor. Yes, that bad boy would fly, and it was pretty common to see my passengers grabbing for it.
