Stock 02-07 Fx4 LII. Only stock option and they have no red in 'em. Say...wern't you going to have your entire inside reupholstered??? That's the only option for what you want.

so your saying my best bet would be to look in the junkyards? cant buy them new on the internet anywhere cause i been lookin and cant find any black ones for the 2004.
And yea i am going to have my interior re-upholstered. i just wanted to see if i could buy them for cheaper than he wanted to do them. and i was just thinkin of paintin the plastic piece around the mirror on the passenger visor red.. nuthin too flashy

or get your stock ones recovered. i have done so many sunvisors i have lost count. but i have never seen any stock ranger ones that are black and red. fx4 level 2s have black, but no red.

yea but you also pay for what u get. if i buy new ones from lmc, sure they are a little more expensive but guarenteed to hold up. i have heard my friends dad's work on sun visors consist of the cardboard from coors light boxes...... ill pay the extra 50 bucks

i do this professionally, and we use poster board. it's what the industry uses. i can produce just as nice a job as what those are. the shop i work for charges $25 a visor for sewn ones just like those. we do them day in and day out and haven't had any come back for lack of quality.

before and after on a set for an 80 camaro i did:

the ones from lmc say you have to reuse the original rod/bracket. something we run into with most newer sunvisors with that style rod, when you pull it out, it doesn't go back in. they aren't made to be removed. now, maybe they make it so you can, but then it's not oem style.

to each his own. if you want to pay double what a good shop can do them for, that's your choice. let me know how they look after you install them. i'm really curious to see them.

yea i didnt see that thing about the brackets till you said something. but i had a friend take a look at my visors and he thinks he will be able to fix my mistakes. so i dont think i will have to buy new ones now. should have them up tomorrow. which reminds me... i need to take pics of the headlights i got today
