So apparently the act of closing the rear door on a 2001 Ranger, is enough to break the plastic clip that holds the seat belt retractor spring in place. Seat belt will no longer retract, and its time to replace the assembly. Anyone know for sure the model years that I could replace my seat belt assembly with? I found one spot where it mentioned 1998-2003 would work but just trying to confirm before heading to the salvage yard. Any tips and tricks when replacing would be appreciated also.
