I just got a 01 Ranger Edge 4wd automatic and it has the 2 cup holders under the airbag switch. It has one of the rings in it but it dont do squat, had a few different drinks in it and man they wobble all over the place in it and just wait for one to go flying out. Not deep enough for one and to big.

Wonder if anyone found a better fix?

My 99 did not come with any. I picked a couple from my local U Pull It. As long as they are in the upper position they hold everything I have put in it.

Yep, mine does that too. I turned it into a misc. junk holder, and use the armrest cupholder. Passengers are on their own lol!

Take the little ring out and flip it upside down. Try it again with the same drinks.

Fx4 seats with a cup holder in the console, easily one of the best things Ive done to my truck.

I said screw all this noise and decided to make a 60/40 center console so i could have cupholders where i wanted em. Got the mock up done and ill be fiberglassing it in march. If anyones interested ill make some CAD drawings of it when its fine tuned.

Bucket seat mod and made a center console with cupholders 3" diameter x 4" deep. Problem solved lol

fyi I tried the turning the ring over tonight after going to jack in the crack and with 2 large drinks in these lame holders it was a exciting ride home! also those cups wont fit in the ring upside down and they tip all over while driving, I had to keep 2 fingers on the lids while driving so they didnt end up all over my shoes
