Default Level II shifter measurements

I am wanting to fabricate a shifter for my 96 that is based on the shifter found in the manual Level II. My plan is to use 3/4" cold steel bar and have an end turned down to accomodate a Mustang GT shifter knob then bend the rod to the correct angle while allowing an additional 3" for a body lift. I'm looking for someone that has a manual Level II that could give me the length of the stock shifter and the angle at the bend. Also, does someone have a line on the part number for the shifter boot?
