Default no heat
please help

I bought a 94 ranger xlt 3.0 and it did not have a t stat and a bad blower motor.. so I installed a t stat and new blower motor.. blower is blowing out very little air and its cold air.. the top radiator hose gets hot but the heater coil hose stays cold and my temp. runs real high.. I checked to make sure coil was not stoped up and its not.. what is going on????

Is there any leaks around the timing cover or water pump, or the water pump weep hole?

no leaks any where and also the top radiator hose when it gets hot it has no pressure on it... I can squize it easy

what about when you rev the engine..can you feel the hose pressurize? could be a bad radiator cap

no pressure at all... can a bad cap do all that to the heat

oh yes...a bad cap can also cause overheating issues

yes the blower is running good I can hear it under the hood its just not blowing good in the cab

I replaced the radiator cap and also replaced the blower motor resistor and nothing... temp. still get real high, no pressure on the radiator top hose and the heater coil hoses are still cold ... I looked in the radiator why truck was running and the water was just sitting there not moving at all... a few min. later the water just started going up to the top then droped down real low then back up to top and kept doing this till I switched truck off.... whats the next steep guys?
