Default Reg Cab Back wall pillar- no speaker ports?

Hey,

I just put in a 12in. shallow sub in my 2005 regular cab ranger xl behind the driver seat.. it fits well enough, but if I could install a back wall piece that DOESN'T have that speaker port that comes out, I could really use that space to give the sub more room.

Anyone else deal with this?

Does anyone know of a wall piece that would fit from another ranger that doesn't have that speaker port?

Has anyone ever cut those out and patched it up to be flush with the wall? I'm not opposed to this approach as I have no intention of putting speakers there.

Any and all ideas are welcome. I know it won't produce that much room, it would just be a more comfortable fit.

Thanks,
Jordan
