'99 ranger super cab interior back panel removal

I would like to upgrade the rear speakers in my '99 Ranger XL 4x4. So far I haven't found any info on how to remove the interior panel behind the seats that covers the speakers. Can you direct me to that info, or explain how to remove the panel? Thank you.

the very back panel under rear window? or the rear door panels? the back panel has 3 push pins on each side. one in the middle plus 2 screws on bottom. plus it has clips on top. lol

the back panel of the cab. Are the screws on the bottom visible; I haven't looked very closely?

U need to pull the jack stand cover off. And lift up the carpet. I ended up carpeting mine. And love it so much.

oh you're talking about the panels in the door themselves right? First you need to unscrew the seatbelt latch both at the top and bottom. Once done the panels are snapped into place, unfortunately there's a boat load of snaps so you have to wedge something flat between the metal and the panel and go around the panel and pop them out.

Thanks, but not the doors (no rear doors); the plastic panel below the rear window with the molded grilles. According to Jayare310 there are screws on the bottom, push pins on the sides, and clips along the top. I hope to work on it tomorrow. I'll report my success, or lack of it.

U nailed it. Very easy. Those push pins are a moficky tho lol. But ull get it. The bottom one is a lil tough because of the seat In the way. I put a screwdriver in between and popped it out.
