Drivers seat?
Ok guys. I found a 60/40 drivers seat in good condition for my 99 regular cab. They want $170 for it. Is that a good price?

Re: Drivers seat?

Yeah that's a little expensive. But if it looks really good and it what you want/need, I would make an offer or buy it. Sometimes paying a little more and getting what you want makes it worth it!

Re: Drivers seat?
When I replaced the 60 section of the 60/40 seat I went to a pick & pull & got it for IIRC $30.00.

I don't mind paying a little bit more for what I want but I don't want to get raped either.

I went to the U-PULL-IT near my house and all they had was crap! I did get a good set of tail lights.

Re: Drivers seat?
Honestly, I'd just get a pair of explorer seats from a junkyard, they are SO much more comfortable then any year ranger seats. I got my set for $50, wired them in too so they have power

Can't do it in a 97 reg cab either doesn't fit. I had to swap my tracks but I'm keeping the power panels on the sides and keeping the power lumbar from them.

So you just swapped the tracks from your seats to the Explorer seats?

Yes. I had 60/40 seats. The tracks are a direct swap to the explorer seat. Explorer seat tracks work in an ex cab truck.

not that simple on 98+ trucks. your tracks don't simply unbolt. the recline mech is part of the track assembly. you can use 93-7 reg cab tracks though. some minor mods may be required though.
