I have an XLT with speedo only , does the wiring harness have the connections to drive the speedo/tachometer cluster ?

I recommend this site for some comprehensive electrical diagrams. Enter your truck info, click on TSB's and then select Wiring. There will be several areas to choose from.

It will even show you what wire colors to look for on the connector. Hope this helps.
