Default center console help

can someone help me out on removing a center console from a 99 ranger reg cab with 60/40 buckets

If its like the one I have (auto), in the bottom of the cup holders you will see a slot that you can put a big screw driver in or use a quarter (might need pliers) and turn the locking tab to release it. Do that to both lift it up and then 4 screws to remove the plastic mounting plate.

I haven't pulled one off a manual but I do have the 60/40 like you. Its worth a look though, might be the same system to hold it down.

found it out...
you have to pull the seat out and turn it upside down there are 3 or 4 bolts holding it to the frame. unscrew them and open the velcro on the back of the seat and move the padding aside and the armrest will just slide out... hopefully this helps if anyone else was wondering
