Yup, at Looooooooooong last I finally have a couple sets of cruise control PCB's modded with BLUE LED's.

Please note I only have 2 sets of these (both in BLUE) completed right now & one set is spoken for already.
I'm still experimenting with different style LED's to see what I like the best, but so far they're all about the same brightness & color... some are a little easier for me to work with, while some are so small that I need magnifying glasses & the hubble telescope to see 'em

These will be a sort or DIY affair where you'll need to (of course) remove your old cruise pods from the steering wheel and carefully remove the top rubber button section, detach the PCB's (printed circuit boards) inside from the top button section & replace them with the LED modded PCB's.

On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being no more difficult than washing the windows and 10 being close to doing an engine swap with nothing but a paperclip), I'd rate this one a 2.5

Once you have the LED modded PCB's installed, tested & working, you'll need to send your old PCB's back to me so I'll be able to mod them for the next person.
This will greatly help keep the cost of this mod down.

Speaking of costs... I'll price this mod in this manner:

$40.00 per set of LED modded cruise pod PCB's.
Shipped FREE via USPS Priority Mail, Insured with Tracking # (Shipping to Canada may be a couple bucks more)

You'll need to make sure I have your correct PayPal info along with your shipping info & FRF username to ensure I get your refund/gift processed when your old PCB's arrive. Might not hurt to include a note in your return package with your info or even add your FRF username to your shipping label.

I should also note that these cruise pods are the standard kind found on the Rangers & Explorers as shown in my How-To video, but NOT the newer style that are more of a square shape.

I'll be modding more of these as soon as I have time & as I get PCB's to mod.

Colors I'll be doing: Red, White, Blue, Green, possibly Yellow & Orange.

I'm still looking for extra complete cruise pods with soft rubber top button sections, as soon as I get some I'll be doing a 100% plug-n-play mod version where you simply remove your entire old pods & pop in the LED modded ones.
Pricing may be a little more on those mainly due to many of the top button sections being so dry & hard that it's nearly impossible to actually press the buttons with them

These use the smallest LED's I've ever worked with & I don't know if I'll be doing too many more with them...I nearly went blind modding these.
Luckily, the other style of new LED's I used were a bit easier to work with & just as bright.

Bump time!

I have LED's on order in Red, White, Blue, Green, Yellow & Orange, so I'll be able to do these in all those colors pretty soon.

Also, I have ONE set each of Blue & Green with refurbished OEM bulbs.
I was able to get my hands on a small number of OEM Ford bulbs with the blue or green color filters on them to replace some burned out bulbs in OEM bulb connectors.
These are gonna be very limited, based on how many good bulbs I can find & how many OEM bulb holders I can find.

These are NOT LED's, this particular "mod" uses original Ford OEM bulbs from different applications to replace bad bulbs in OEM cruise pod bulb holders.

As referenced in my disassembly video, you will need to remove the cruise pods from the steering wheel & remove the top rubber button section so you can change the bulb holders out. No wiring, no other modding needed, just a pair of pliers to remove/replace the bulb holders from the circuit boards.

Pricing on the refurbished OEM cruise pod bulb holders: $12.00 per pair (2 bulb holders) shipped FREE in the USA (Canada shipping may be a few bucks more)
