Hey everyone, this came out of my '98 Ranger Ext Cab. JL Audio no longer makes this model as the price was too high for most consumers. I bought the box w/ sub about 8 years ago for around $700 and am asking $150 OBO for it. The subwoofer is a 12" JL Audio W3, and I have recently upgraded to a rubber surround (compared to the cheaper foam that comes on them new). It is as good as, if not better than, a brand new subwoofer now! The box is made out of high durability fiber glass, wrapped in stain-resistant grey carpeting that matches the interior of the truck. The box itself replaces the driver side fold-down seat in the rear. Subwoofer faces the floor, which protects the cone/surround from debris. This subwoofer is NOT powered, so you will need an amplifier to power it. I used an Alpine V12 250watt amp in my ranger and it had the perfect quality and sound. I am not positive, but I believe this model will fit 98-99 model Rangers.
