The sub is a 12" Eclipse unit. I don't know the model but I do know its 4 ohm and only handles 250 RMS. With it you get an old Alpine MRV-T500 amp. This system will add plenty of bass to your music but will not shake the car next to you. I listen to mostly rock/metal and this was the perfect setup. Amp specs: Alpine V12 MRV T500
