I've been teasing myself with your leds. But this morning I had a tail light and turn signal light both go out so I figure now is the time to switch over. I want to convert most if not all of my lights on my 01 to led. So I'm gonna put in an order through you for pretty much a full conversion. (preferably in one order to save on shipping).
Just wondering how close you could get. only doing exterior lights now. So tails, backup, 3bl and a Mustang dome conversion(the soft one v2) the full works. Too scared to try clusters and hvacs until I look into it more. Let me know when we can work something out.

Re: buggman's Plug-in LED's leds (KY)
LIke you I was scared to get into the dash but I read the how to a few times for a couple months lol...then I jumped in and really it wasnt hard at all, think the most pain was getting the old ones out, turning the black holders were hard at first. The payoff is well worth it, so much brighter.
All my bulbs had black spots on them to and were quit dim.
Like most have said pictures dont do justice, much nicer in person.

I'll definitely start looking into it more. Just not a fan of pulling dashes apart. But they are quite dim and definitely have dark spots. Just don't know if I want the brightness of leds in my face. Are yours.... Soft? I guess is the best word for it. Or are they very sharp on your eyes at night(I do a fairly long drive every morning before sunrise don't want a headache before I get to work)

Re: buggman's Plug-in LED's leds (KY)
I got to drive for the first time last night after doing this and while they are brighter I would say its a softer light, did not bother me at all.
Far as time, maybe couple hours or less. Maybe took me longer cause it was my first time but im sure when I get the headlight and 4x4 switch from buggman it wont take me as long
I prob made it a little more harder cause I did not unplug the dash, I just reached in and replaced the lights. Was a bit harder but didnt feel like messing with plugs.

Should have un-done the plugs! haha. Once it's out, take some needle nose and use them as leverage to turn the black plugs. Easy as cake. The hardest part for me was finding the courage to tear everything apart. Disassembling the gear indicator for the cluster to come out was a close second.

I just really don't want to mess anything up inside if I do try for the cluster lights. So many small parts.

Re: buggman's Plug-in LED's leds (KY)
Just look up the thread by stl, he goes step by step with pictures. Just a few screws and the cluster comes out.
Trust me if I did it anyone can. I will manage to mess the simplest of things up lol.
