How hard are these to install if your ranger did not come with one stock? If its simple I'd be interested in it plus some of the mustang dome leds.

Installing the ohc shouldn't be too bad... I've never got around to installing mine yet.

The hardest part for me is coming to terms with cutting a hole in the headliner.

The wiring is pretty straightforward for the initial install & there should be a how-to here that will help a lot.

Doing the mod with my led panels is pretty simple, especially if you don't have the ohc installed in the truck yet.

Remove the old bulb holder assembly, install the led panel & connect the 3 original wires, screw everything back together & you're pretty much done.

The 'stang dome led's are plug-n-play & the only real mod you'll have to do is sometimes the old bulb holder connections will need to be squeezed together to better hold onto the slightly smaller diameter led connections.

Having just (finally) installed a mustang dome w/my led's, I can personally say they're BRIGHT!!

How do i get the temp and stuff working on the front screen if i do not have it stock? Is it a hard mod bug?

2002 Ranger Edge. 4" lift ridin on bilstien 5100. Ion Alloys wrapped in Goodyear Wrangler mud terrains. Intake with 40 series flowmaster. Tonneau cover. Sound system: Two 12" woofers in custom box, powered by 1100 W 2 channel. MB quart components in the front and co axel in the back powered by a 800w. Tough screen head with nav. tinted windows, 8000k hid top and bottom, and im fabricating a skid plate light bar, lost interist so who knows when ill get back to it.

The led panel mod doesn't affect the other functions of the ohc at all.

You remove all the old bulb holder/reflectors & replace it with my panel. 4 screws hold the old assembly in place, 4 new longer screws (included) hold the new led panel in place. Snip the 3 wires & insert them in the screw terminals on the panel & you're done.

Usually, the hardest part of the mod is finding the small torx driver to remove the OEM screws.

I actually have plug-ins that work for the license tag lights...





The one in here is just a 7x led, but the 5x smd led's will fit as well & throw out even more light. It's a snug fit, but they'll just squeeze in there
