Time to update this again.

From the original post, I still have the grey/red Mustang GT buckets. they are already torn down ready to be covered, just haven't gotten to it yet.

I also still have the leather explorer seats, however I think they may be about to go under the knife.

New to my stash are the following.

2 Gen 1/2 solid benches. One is red, the other is tan. Both need recovered, but have excellent foam bases to start with. No pics of the red one, but can get them if needed. it's in a little better shape than the tan one.

$45 as is, or PM me for a custom cover price.

next up is a set of 60/40 from a gen 1. another candidate for a recover. they are decent without recovering, just faded, little dirty, and a couple small holes.

I would need to get $50 out of these as is, it's what I have into them.

And last but not least, I have a set of tan/brown cloth buckets from an 03 Mustang. Haven't seen this color combo before (when I pulled them). Went back the following week and they had another set, so must be somewhat common, but not overly popular. Would probably work well in a truck with tan interior. Or they can be recovered however you want. They do have a hole in the front where the power controls were. if someone wanted them in the material they are in, i could probably find a piece of material to replace the part with the hole.

Looking for $65 as is.

Just for curiosity's sake, do you have a pair of buckets that would fit an extended cab model and could be covered in tan suede? I need to retain the sliding seat function as I have kids I haul in my truck. I currently have the 60/40 split seats and want to eliminate those. I am sure this won't be cheap, but I have to ask.

what year is your truck? i don't think any of these came from an ext cab, but if you have a gen 1-3, i think you can use your recline mech and make it work.

Truck is a 96, my bad! I think the seat rails is what controls the tip n slide function. I am not 100% sure though as I have not had them out of the truck. The last set I had was 5 years ago, and I don't remember how those worked either.

there should be a rod connected from the recline mech that goes down to the tracks, under the plastic. any of the seats (other than the bench) i have will bolt up to your tracks. you should be able to use your recline mech on these seats as well, keeping your tip and slide.

if you want buckets, the explorer buckets will pretty much bolt in, keeping the power tracks. and the mustang ones will bolt to your seat rails. the rest i have are 60/40s

Well, I am keen on buckets. I want to build a center console for the truck. When you recover a set, do you essentially rebuild them? Price wise, what would redoing a set of buckets set me back?
